Which Points are Important When Choosing a Pneumatic Actuator?

- Double acting / single acting / three position
- The actuator's output torque as Nm at P = 6 bar
- The valve's torque value as Nm that will be connected to the actuator
- Pressure of the line
- Max. min. fluid temperature
- Valve connection size
- Opening and closing frequency of actuator
- Measure the valve connection, and thread / flange connection
- The frequency of opening and closing actuator
- Rotary or linear type actuator
- Working voltage of namur solenoid valve
- Any need of limit switch box
- Control type: on-off or proportional
- The bottom square holes dimension of the actuator shaft
- Valve type: ball, butterfly, plug type
- The viscosity of fluid
- 25% more torque value has to be chosen than the valve actuator torque value
